Materialism comes to an end

It is of no little importance to find the ideological roots of the unspeakable disdain for animals and to name those who support this ideology today. Only then will it be possible to expose the tradition that became a substitute for ethics and to become free of this substitute ethics. Based on the biblical-ecclesiastical disparagement of animals, we have suppressed all other voices from the history of ideas of the western world, for example, the warning of Pythagoras (ca. 570-497/496 B.C.), a founder of Greek philosophy, who warned his contemporaries not to hurt a delicate flower or an innocent animal; or indications given by the Greek philosopher Plutarch (50-125 A.D.) who fought against the cruelty toward animals as well as the enjoyment of their meat. The famous Roman Consul Cato (234-149 B.C.) expressed himself in a similar fashion: “No person may treat animate beings like machinery.” The list of famous poets and thinkers who spoke out against the barbarity that we consider totally normal today could be arbitrarily set forth – all the way to Nobel Prize winners like Albert Einstein and Albert Schweitzer. The universal genius of the Western world, Leonardo da Vinci (1452- 1519) expressed himself in a particularly clear way: “The time will come when we will condemn the eating of animals just as today we condemn the eating of our own kind, the consuming of humans.”

Ein Engel mit LauteThat this point in time will come can be seen from the vision of the prophet Isaiah, already mentioned at the beginning, on the peaceful co-existence of people and animals. When this vision of a “new Earth and a new Heaven” will become reality is beyond our knowledge. Apocalyptic events have been announced as harbingers of such a change by Jesus of Nazareth, by John of Patmos in Revelations, in fact, a component of the official Bible, and in the prophecies of today.

In the Christ- revelation This Is My Word, the talk is about a mighty shaking of the Earth through falling meteorites, through changes in the basins of the oceans and the high mountains. It is well known that Jesus of Nazareth already spoke of the fact that “the stars will fall from heaven.” And then, we can read the following in the Christ-revelation This Is My Word:

The prophets of God in the Old Covenant and all prophets of God and enlightened men and women in the past two thousand years warned mankind again and again of its own sowing and called for turning back. From many facets of the eternal truth, mankind was shown its satanic seed and its corresponding future, in case it does not turn back and fulfil the laws of God. The forthcoming end-time was and is talked about at ever shorter intervals. But the masses of people lived and continue to live in sin and danced and continue to dance around their golden calf: around their ego, which seeks the “mine and me” and the life of pleasure. The admonishments come true. Mankind is in the so-called end-time. Recognize that the word “end-time” does not mean the end of matter, the end of the planet Earth, but the end of all that is against God. Materialism is coming to an end ... The divine breath also streams through nature and animals.

That the materialistic era comes to an end is also announced in a change of our scientific world view. Natural science, which carried modern materialism too far, has meanwhile changed its approach through the discoveries of the great physicists of the previous century: Einstein, Max Planck und Werner Heisenberg. The new physics teaches us that, in reality, our world does not consist of matter. What we sense as more or less firm substance is not a collection of infinitely many solid micro-particles, but is instead a tangle of relationships consisting of impulses and vibrations from an invisible energy field. Einstein said: “The atoms that appear to us as matter are actually a concentration of energy!” and Max Planck explained: “All matter emerges and is maintained by only one power, which holds an atom together as the tiniest of all solar systems. But since there is no force in all the cosmos that exists of itself, we have to accept that behind this form of energy there is a conscious and intelligent Spirit. This is the very basis of matter!”

Hans Peter Dürr, a physicist from Munich and long-time colleague and follower of Werner Heisenberg, described it the following way: “Upon consideration, at the end of reality there is no matter; instead, there is a field that is not matter, but gives a kind of potential which is capable of materializing. This field is one single field that the whole universe consists of … basically everything is spirit.”

The consequences of these research results are unmistakable. They not only overcame the materialistic ideology of the 19th century, but also placed church ideology into question, for example, that God would move to unreachable distances and separate the Creator Spirit from His universe, that soul and spirit is reserved for humans while plants and animals are inferior matter. The physicist Hans Peter Dürr offered to theologians the following: “Modern physics diverges totally from this external God. For in the new natural sciences, quantum physics, what prevails is the thought that everything is interconnected. But where there is no separation, one comes to another idea of God. I cannot imagine God as something external. For me there is only one God in whom I am myself included.”

If the All-Spirit, God, really is effective throughout everything, every atom, every molecule, every plant and every animal, and of course, every human being, then the question again is raised whether the disdain for animals in the traditional Bible can really be the Word of God. For the one who believes in the great Creator God, it is unimaginable that He would want to treat His creatures with so much disregard as the church has been teaching for 2000 years.

Perhaps another question is raised among the many who believe in the loving God, namely, why God is silent concerning all this and doesn’t interfere. This last He doesn’t do because He does not take the freedom from human beings whom He created as free beings. But He also is not silent. In all eras, above all in the great times of change, He spoke to His human children through prophets – through the great prophets of the Old Testament, and above all, through Jesus of Nazareth. And even after Him there were always mystics and particularly purified people who became permeable for the spiritual world and heard the voice of God in their inner being, and according to the extent of their calling, could also pass on some of it. In this way, it becomes plausible that during this unusual time in which we live, God again sent a great prophet to humans. This time, He sent a woman for whom it is possible to have a direct communication with the Spirit of God and through whom a great work of revelation has emerged, which leads people into a new awareness of unity,
and from which a new relationship between humans and animals will come forth.

In one of the messages of the Spirit of God through Gabriele it says the following: “Know that every one of you is the compressed All, and the All is the Being – it is the eternal homeland, the sea of light, God. For this reason, behave as humans beings in such a way that you send into the heavens and receive from the heavens. When you live in the stream of the All, then you are the essence of the All, then you live in the fullness and you are the fullness.” 2 The statement that “you are compressed All, and in you is the essence of the All” fits in a certain way with the statements we have heard from representatives of quantum physics.

Eingesperrter Hund hinter GitterstäbenIn the above-mentioned great Christ-revelation This Is My Word, a far more detailed report is given on the life and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth than is found in the official church texts of the Bible. What becomes clear with this is that the Nazarene taught a totally different way of treating the animals than we are used to within the framework of so-called Christian tradition. Among other things, we read in This Is My Word: “Therefore, be considerate, kind, sympathetic and friendly not only to your kind, but also to every creature which is within your care; for you are as the gods to them, whom they look up to in their need.” (Chap. 19:9, p. 180)

And the Spirit of the Christ of God who is revealing Himself today adds to this: “Never slaughter an animal for your personal use. Behold, nature, the life of creation, provides for you. The fruits of the fields, the gardens and the forests should be sufficient for you.” (ob. cit., p. 181) It is left up to each of us whether we accept this message and what we do with it. Its basic thought could, however, change our relationship with the animals from the bottom up – namely, the thought:

It is one and the same breath that flows through humans and animals – it is the breath of God. This awareness could change our life habits as well, and end the torture of our fellow creatures.

Many examples of the love of Jesus, the Christ of God, for the animals can be read in this book, including the following:

“Jesus went to Jerusalem and came upon a camel with a heavy burden of wood. The camel could not haul its load up the hill and the driver beat it and treated it cruelly, but could not get the animal to move. And as Jesus saw it, He said to him, “Why do you beat your brother?” And the man retorted, “I did not know that it is my brother. Is it not a beast of burden, made to serve me?” And Jesus said, “Has not the same God created this animal and your children who serve you from the same material and have you not both received the same breath from God?” 3
