Humans and animals
become friends again

What is particularly noticeable to the eye is how the animals discard their shy behavior if things move along in a peaceable way on a farm – on a farm where the horses, dogs, cats, geese, ducks and chickens can live together on a large family farm until the end of their natural life without fear of being slaughtered.

We have already mentioned the wild pigs that regularly come to visit in order to watch the harvest work. The young boars eat with the chickens and drink from the same water basins.

Wild pigs without fear of men

The Cock makes Peace Wild Pig Thyrinus is watching teh camera man.

One of the leaders, a growing boar who answers to the name Thyrinus, has proven to be particularly sensitive: When a gardener began to lay out a large fruit plantation and became somewhat discouraged, the “wild animal” hurried out of the woods unexpectedly, approached the gardener in a relaxed way, sniffed encouragingly to him, let itself be fed with corn cobs, took an apple from the tree and finally lay down in the grass nearby. Now, the work could proceed with its support. For days after, Master Thyrinus showed up again to continue the therapy treatment.

Peaceableness can be infectious, to the point that even roosters bring about peace. When two hens were going for their first walk with their baby chicks, they fell violently upon one another. It didn’t take long until one of the two roosters hurried over and came between them. He drove the all-too-human acting hens apart and scolded them right fiercely, until they let go of each other and together with their chick retinue continued peacefully on their way.

Cats and wild pigs in the garden of the farm...What all can be brought about by a peaceable atmosphere can also be seen from the story of Vasry. This is the story of a young “sprinter” as the young boars we refer to are called on the farm. Vasry had apparently hurt his back left leg and was limping. He separated from the rest of the young boars, left the woods and sought refuge on the farm. No one really knew what he needed. But he knew how to help himself: He crawled under the branch of a tree in the shade, because it was the middle of Summer and hot. He was brought something to eat and the person didn’t even notice at first what the therapy was. Only when the young boar always took the same place and position did the people on the farm first notice that he always lay so that the sick leg stuck out from under the branches in such a way that the sun shone on it. The young boar was using the energy of the sun as a source of healing – and with full success. Slowly, but steadily he recovered, as one could notice in the way he tried walking.

Horse Amahl becomes freind with the wild pig VasryBut it wasn’t only the quiet and security of his resting place and the warming sun that let him recover; other helpers also contributed. After a short time one could see that the splendid rooster, the “Indian,” and his flock of hens were keeping sick Vasry company. With cock-a-doodle-doos and cackling, they sought him out and held a lively conversation with him. And when the sun stood high, visitors and patient took a midday nap together. The path to him became a regular part of their walk. Every time the chickens took a walk, they looked in on Vasry and at least one hen stayed with him as the rest continued on.

Soon, other visitors were dropping by. The sickbed was on the edge of a pathway that led from the stall of the Arabian horses to the pasture. And so, one day the fiery Arab stallion Amahl showed up. He stood there completely quiet and looked at Vasry for a long time. Vasry also stood very quietly and look at Amahl in the eyes for a long time. Both apparently had some things to say to each other. Their friendship was not without results: When there were apples to eat again, which Amahl particularly favors, he left one over, nudged it and nodded his head several times in the direction of Vasry who was already sleeping. Amahl had never before left an apple over. But when asked if the apple was for Vasry, Amahl nodded his head in agreement and the apple was placed as a gift next to the drinking water of the young boar. When he awakened, he ate the apple up and fully enjoyed it. Soon Vasry was much better; he ran around the farm inspecting everything that he found interesting – not least of all the kitchen door and the feeding trough of the hens. After some time he recovered totally and rejoined the other young boars in the woods.

The fox Raschwinn on an evening walkRaschwinn proves that foxes, if one does not approach them as enemies, are not at all shy (as well as no geese robbers): One Fall evening, the young fox ran across a meadow and wasn’t even disturbed by a person with a camera. When he came to an apple tree further on, he took up an apple that had fallen to the ground, ran across the meadow and sat down and savored the apple with much enjoyment as if to say: “Do you see? I like apples!” A couple of minutes later, he continued on.

Hercules was a patient of a totally different kind. When he was found, he was tiny and weighed hardly 50 gr. Somehow, he must have fallen from the nest, and rolled under the bushes. “Where’s mama? I’m slowly getting cold! I’m also hungry and thirsty!”

Herkules sleeps after lunch...The baby squirrel, naked and blind, apparently was asking for help and gradually let itself be taken up by two warm hands. Quickly a cosy nest was made from the leaves of a nut tree, dry moss, hay and nuts, so that it would smell like home. A hot water bottle wrapped in a towel kept the nest warm. What does one feed a baby squirrel? Milk, like one would give to small children, filled with minerals and vitamins that are mixed in with warm water.

The first nights were quite an adventure. The baby was obviously a strong little fellow – that’s why the name. Every three hours, Hercules wanted to have his meal. Every day, he was weighed, so we could be sure he was receiving the right kind of care. The largest part of Hercules was his nose and his feet, which he used as he greedily sought the pipette of milk. He held it firmly in his hands and sucked strongly, to then fall into a deep sleep, sometimes while still eating – best of all in cozy, warm hands. He increasingly grew stronger and faster than anything we found written in any guidebook.

He was also completely healthy. After some time, he could already sleep through the night and slowly adapted to porridge food. What he liked best of all was to stand in the middle of the porridge bowl with all four legs, which meant, of course, that only about a sixth of the porridge was eaten, the rest was spread equally on Hercules, his caretaker and the surrounding area. Shortly after, he was able to keep his balance and began to sniff and lick the first nuts between his two front paws.

Herkules is growing and is getting strongIt took some time until he learned to use his teeth. While still clumsy on his feet, he started exploring his aviary cage, furnished with branches and twigs. Then he began to crack the sunflower seeds himself, to eat nuts and enjoy an apple. Soon he was springing securely from branch to branch, and so quickly and snappily that one could hardly follow with the eyes.

His joy in life is infectious. Meanwhile, he lives in a large aviary and cracks every fresh nut that he has an appetite for. When he is large enough, the aviary doors will be opened and Hercules will be able to lead his own life.

All life forms have their own state of consciousness and are in communication with the world around them. But this isn’t only in relation to the visible, external world. Behind the manifold variety of minerals, plants and animals are still other beings that are not visible to our human eyes.

Perhaps you have already experienced how a child, perhaps even your child, suddenly began to talk, not with you and not with itself, but as if another child were in the same room, with whom he was talking or even playing, although no one else could be seen? Sometimes these dialogues are so intense, that the parents get upset about the “fantasies” of their children and want to bring them back to “reality” by trying to make clear to them that “no one is there.” But who knows – perhaps someone is there with whom the child communicates because it still has access to spheres that are more fine-material than our world, but which remain closed to us adults because we orient ourselves exclusively to the reality of coarse material matter. For the little girl, who forbade the interference of her parents with the words, “But don’t you see that I’m just talking to my friend...?”, the being that is invisible to us is no less real.

Gabriele Foundation - Cherry FlowersIn fairy tales we encounter gnomes, elves, fairies and dwarfs of all different kinds. Are these all simply products of our imagination? Or does an ancient knowledge find expression here – especially in genuine folk tales – that is confirmed over and over again through the specific experiences of more sensitive people? Meanwhile, from the spiritual world, we have come to know – thanks to the divine revelations conveyed to us by Gabriele – that there actually exist nature beings that move among us and care for the plants and animals: They give comfort with their fine, selfless, spiritual sensations of consciousness; they radiate the healing and helping forces of the All into the spiritual aspects of the animals, plants and minerals; they comfort, protect and build up the material life-form as far as it is possible for them. In co-operation with the spirit beings, to which the nature kingdoms are subordinated, they form a mighty communications network that can be compared to a perfectly functioning relief organization.14

We can well imagine how much this help from the spiritual world is needed by nature, which has been so ill-treated by humans. We may not see them, but it is nevertheless comforting to know how tightly woven they are with us.

Every person, too, has at his side an invisible helper and server, called spirit being or angel – it is the being which supports him and helps him, if he, the person, is open to this, that is, approachable. Spirit beings and nature beings serve the animals and plants on the Earth as well as the minerals. … The angels and the nature beings are active invisibly, thus serving people, animals, plants and minerals. They strive to help the spiritual part of the animals and, as far as this is possible for them, also the material body, the envelopment of the spiritual substance.15
